We will kick the day off with a pleasant stroll through the magnificent Vigeland Sculpture Park, which boasts over 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland, and continue on to the Royal Palace, the official residence of the current Norwegian monarch. Next on the list is a visit to the immense Akershus Fortress. Dominating the Oslofjord skyline, the fortress has had many uses, ranging from a medieval castle and a military stronghold to a Renaissance palace and even a prison. These days locals and tourists likewise seek out this remarkable place for its renowned museum and parks.

When the time seems right, set out in search of that perfect meal in a traditional Norwegian restaurant with mouthwatering dishes and artic delicacies. There is plenty to choose from, and our guide will be more than happy to share their recommendations.

Why not spend the day sampling delicacies at Maschmanns Food Market, marvelling at the handiwork of glass blowers at the Hadeland Glassverk, or hunting for souvenirs at the Karl Johans Gate, the main shopping strip.

You must also remember to pay a visit to the National Gallery of Art to glimpse Edvard Munch's famous painting, The Scream.

In the evening, seek out some traditional Norwegian fare of cod and mackerel dishes, followed by lots of 'skal' over drinks.

After sufficient rest at the hotel, you will be given a thermal suit and special winter boots. We will then leave the city lights behind us as we head off to the Norwegian wilderness until we reach a Reindeer Farm. Sami, the indigenous people, will share their stories and myths with you while you feed, pet and takes selfies with their 300 reindeer! Among other adventures today, you will also have a go at reindeer sledging.

Later on, cosy up inside a Sami tent, ‘lavvu,’ or sit outside on reindeer skins as you await the magic of the dancing Nothern lights above you.

Following breakfast, the first part of the day is yours to explore Tromsø on your own. We recommend visiting Tromsø Cathedral and taking a scenic funicular ride to a viewpoint on Mount Storsteinen, offering incredible panoramic views of the island.

In the evening, our next adventure awaits! We will leave the city behind as we set off on a 90 minutes drive, enjoying the surrounding scenic winter landscapes until we reach Camp Tamok. A thermal suit and special winter boots will be provided again.

Experience the ride of your life on a snowmobile through the snow-covered mountains up to the frozen Lake Fin, where you can take some amazing photos, spying the Aurora Borealis dancing above you.

Right after breakfast, we’ve got another exhilarating experience planned – a dog sledging day! You get to experience the thrill of the oldest forms of transportation in Scandinavia as you learn to ride a dog sledge.

Once you arrive at the Husky camp, you will get thermal overalls and winter boots. You will get introduced to the huskies for a bit of playtime while the guide shares their knowledge about the Alaskan Husky breed, dog sledge racing and animal welfare.

After the briefing, it’s time to start the adventure! Ahead of you are several hours of sledging over scenic landscapes with untouched natural beauty.
