You will explore the 13th-century Royal Mint, named the Italian Court for the master artisans from Florence, and visit Kutná Hora’s most remarkable monument - the Gothic Cathedral of St Barbara.

Undoubtedly, the most unique of the sights here is the All Saints Ossuary monastery (the Bone Church), which is famous for its elaborate decorations made of human bones. Garlands of skulls and femurs are strung from the vaulted ceiling like Addams Family Christmas decorations, while in the centre dangles a vast chandelier containing each bone in the human body - a tribute to the plague victims of the 15th century.

Following breakfast, a walking tour of Imperial Vienna with our local guide will take you from the Gothic splendour of St. Stephen’s Cathedral and State Opera House to the Hofburg Palace, where Habsburg emperors once resided in winter. With the insight provided by your guide, it is not hard to imagine what extravagant royal life once looked like.

The highlight is a visit to Schönbrunn Palace - the summer residence of the Habsburgs since 1569. Travel back in time as you explore the impressive showrooms and the beautiful baroque gardens. Feel like a royalty as you get into the intricate details of the life of the Palace's main characters, Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Sisi.

After a bit of downtime at the hotel, you get to experience the best of Viennese classical music with the Kursalon Concert - in the same place where the Waltz King, Johann Strauss, directed his orchestra and used to charm the crowds with his outstanding compositions. Head out on a fascinating journey around the main Budapest attractions, accompanied by your local guide. You will see the Opera House, admire the splendid Vajdahunyad Castle, walk along Andrassy Boulevard and gawk at the beauty of St. Stephen’s Basilica.

You will make your way to the Danube River embankment with its unforgettable views over Buda Hills. After crossing the Chain Bridge and exploring the exteriors of Royal Castle with the Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion, hop aboard a boat and cruise down the Danube.
